John Hinson is the owner and lead Safety Instructor at RE International, LLC, where he specializes in OSHA-based safety training, CPR, and First Aid. With over two decades of experience empowering teams to create safer workplaces, John is both an American Heart Association CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor and an OSHA-authorized Outreach Trainer, leading 10-hour and 30-hour workshops across industries — from hospitals and city governments to daycares and schools.
Before founding RE International, John served as a Wellness Coordinator at UNC REX Healthcare for more than 20 years, training hospital staff and the public on essential safety and wellness practices.
Beyond his professional expertise, John’s commitment to teaching CPR comes from a deeply personal place — after witnessing firsthand how quick action can save a life, he’s made it his mission to ensure others have the same confidence and readiness to respond. As a husband and father, he understands the importance of being prepared for the unexpected, and that empathy drives the way he teaches every class.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University and continues to serve as a passionate safety consultant, trainer, and advocate dedicated to protecting lives through education and empowerment.
